Dr. Saswati Sen completed her Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Biochemistry from McMaster University and went on to attain her Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She did bone marrow failure research in the Hospital for Sick Children and published and presented her work at several conferences both locally and internationally. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto where she was selected to participate in a summer research exchange program in Germany.

This enabled me to work as a research technologist at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Singapore. Advanced Dental research was something that sparked my interest in addition to patient care. Finally I moved to the US to earn my DDS from the University of Michigan in 2019.
